I am attempting to create a gusset plate using the Gusset plate to column and base plate connection tool.  When I attempt to add an angle to one side of my gusset plate it begins to duplicate everything included in the connection.  It creates standard steel objects.  Any idea Why?  The angles in blue are duplicated as they indicate that they are beams not plates.

Hello,

I've informed the dev. team about this issue with the Gusset plate to column and base plate connection. The objects are exploded and doubled when the connection gets a single side angle section. You can remove those elements to fix the issue, because as long as they don't belong to the connection they won't influence its behavior.
