New sections can be added to cold rolled joints by configuring new entries in the AstorRules AstorRules database using the "Table Editor" application from Graitec Advance Manager.
The Database is opened using the "Open ODBC" option.
Section entries must be added to the "JointsGUIAllowedSections" table in the AstorRules Database.
Fill out a new row in the "JointsGUIAllowedSections" table, as follows:
» Add a unique number in the "Key" column.
» Fill the code name of the joint in "JointName" column.
» In "JointControl", enter the code name of the element for which the implementation of new sections is made.
See the following list with the code names for all cold rolled joints and corresponding elements:

» In the "AllowedSectionType" column, select the section type, "Section class" or "Section shape" , from the drop-down list. The "Section class" type allows the assignment of a section class (e.g. Metsec, Kingspan, HEA ). The "Section shape" allows the assignment of a section shape (e.g. I sections, C sections, T sections).
» Fill in the "AllowedSection" column, the intern name of the section which is found in "ProfileMasterTable" , in the AstorProfiles database. For "Section class" the section name is found in the "TypeNameText" column. For "Section shape" the section name is found in "SubTypeName"
After following the above steps, the results appear in the program as in the image.
