How can I export a model from AS2015?
Hi Matt,
I believe the easiest way is to use the Advanced Steel 2015.1 Object enabler.
Have a look here:- http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/video/youtube/watch-v-xgP0Q3X-GV0-feature-youtube-gdata.html
Hope this works in your case.
Regards
Geoff.

Service Pack 1 for Advance Steel 2014
I've noticed that the documentation for AS2014 Service Pack 1 is available for download is this a good indication that the release is imminent?
Be ineresting to see if it incorporates an 'Autodesk' logo on the start screen?
Watch this space!

Some library of saved connections did not transfer when importing previous settings in AS2014_x000D_
I'm guessing here! but I suspect this is due to these connections having being updated to suit the ability to be used on tappered sections in AS 2014.
The different library databases are probably not compatible perhaps!

Advance Steel Maager
Hi Grigor,
Have a look in Advance manager under settings, Table editor, click on 'AS' folder @ top left, expand AstorProfiles & scroll down to EXT_Wood_Stock
You can see from the table what values are required under the various table headings. It's relativley easy to add in your additional sections as required.
You can also open & edit these microsoft access data base files directly, as long as you know there locations. (I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly with an explanation/description of this procedure).
Be sure to enter your "OwnerText" value as this will assist your automatic version update when a new version of Advanced Steel is released.
