The model uploaded. Thanks. -
Grating Treads Not Showing in Stair Details
The stair(s) is done as a frame, stringers and treads all shop bolted and/or welded together. How and where do I submit model to? -
Grating Treads Not Showing in Stair Details
I'm using Advance Steel 2016 and detailing a stair assembly using the drawing style "Stair Assembly at USC". The grating treads do not appear in the resulting detailed shop drawing. They are accounted for and shown in the bill of material just not shown in the picture. How do I get the grating treads to appear in the shop drawing? -
Change holes to 7/16" for 3/8" bolts
Thanks. Worked like a charm! -
Change holes to 7/16" for 3/8" bolts
Is this something that will be added to the program in an update? If not, we need the 3/8" diameter bolt for stair treads also. As Dan stated, this is a very commonly used bolt size for stair treads. -
Weld symbol text size increase
We found this to be the solution:http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/advance-steel/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Advance-Steel-How-to-change-the-size-of-the-weld-symbol-and-the-text-in-AS-2016.html -
Part Sheets for Main Parts
I should add that the single parts we do with a prefix of "P" so all single parts would be P101, P102, P103.... and so on. And only one to a sheet. When we detail the assembly on a drawing the main part's mark is A1004, B1004, C1004, A1005, B1005.... How do I create an additional drawing for that main part that will use that same mark? -
Part Sheets for Main Parts
We have a customer that is requesting to have part sheets for all parts, single and main. This is easy for the single parts and a common process for us. But the main parts are a bit tricky. The customer is requesting a part sheet for the main parts that will be the same as the single parts sheets but still carry the main part mark. Essentially having 2 drawings for each main part with the same number. If this possible within the program? -
create new profile size
Thank you for the quick reply. I am familiar with creating a user section and initially went that route. I am wanting to get the profile size "L2 1/2X1 1/2X1/4" into the already existing list of "AISC Angle not identical". For what ever reason this angle size is not included in the listing.

create new profile size
I am also needing to add a new profile size. The angle size L2 1/2X1 1/2X1/4 into the AISC Angle not identical. The file that is/was attached to the previous response is no longer available. Can you please repost?
